Upper floor slabs to decking |
DESCRIPTION OF WORKS:
Malin were employed by Eric Wright to provide the complete slabs package on a Supply & fix basis. Pouring through the winter months and to achieve early age strength concrete for back propping purposes, we also provided frost protection to help achieve a timely completion.
Upper Floor Slabs
17,000m2 of 175mm maximum thickness concrete slabs over 5 levels and to Kingspan MD60 metal decking (fixed by others) was constructed by hand application, reinforced with a single layer of A393 mesh and perimeter U bar reinforcement. The works were completed in 18pours with a powerfloat or easyfloat finish, dependent upon the usage, to the great satisfaction of the contractor.
