DESCRIPTION OF WORKS:
Malin were employed by Marcity to provide the complete slabs package on a Design, Supply & fix basis. The project was a redevelopment of existing and subsequently was worked to a very tight programme, we managed to re-design the slabs to enable our completion in approximately a 1/3 of the time that would have been needed for a traditional reinforced and joint slab solution.
External Yard Slabs
175mm & 150mm thickness slabs were design by Malin incorporating fibre reinforcement and detailed in large pours to multiple falls. Hand constructed using our pin-form system and including built-in/sawn joints at appropriate centres the concrete slabs were poured over 7 pours including a powerfloat & brush finish with trowelled margins.
